JOHN WAYNE MARINA Sequim has become a popular retirement area mainly because of its dry sunny climate and varied recreational opportunities. The population of Sequim is less than 5,000, however, over 20,000 of the County's approximately 65,000 residents live in the Sequim-Dungeness Valley.
