PORT ORCHARD Port Orchard’s marina is considered by some boaters to be the best in Puget Sound. Commuters access to Seattle is via a short ferry ride on the Southworth Ferry from Fauntleroy in West Seattle. Port Orchard has a very quaint and bustling downtown with a picturesque shoreline. Although it is only ten ferryboat miles from Seattle, it is thousands of miles away in pace of life and atmosphere. Homes are generally less expensive in the Port Orchard area ranging from $200,000 to around $800,000. These listings are centered around Manchester in the eastern part of Port Orchard.
